ABOUT MARY BETH 

Mary Beth is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher, trained at the Center for Mindfulness, UMASS Medical School and received advanced post certification training at the Center for Mindfulness at Brown University.  She is an Instructor for Mindful Leader and teaching faculty at the Alabama Institute for Mindfulness. 

Mary Beth is a Qualified Habit Change Facilitator for the Unwinding Anxiety and Eat Right Now Mindfulness app-based habit programs. Mary Beth was trained by Judson Brewer, MD, PhD, Brown University. 

Mary Beth has also completed MBI:TAC Level II Training and offers coach mentoring for teachers-in-training utilizing the teacher assessment criteria established by Mindfulness Centers for Mindfulness at Bangor University, UK, and Brown University Providence, RI

Mary Beth is also a Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Facilitator and Certified Addictions Counselor. 

Mary Beth offers MBSR Classes and Mindfulness Drop-ins for post MBSR Students online and private mindfulness training. She also offers individual coaching to accompany Unwinding Anxiety and Eat Right Now Mindfulness app-based habit programs. Currently offering all trainings online via zoom.

Mary Beth Stern, founder of TransitionHelp LLC, has undergone many transitions both personally and professionally in the course of her lifetime.  From her Wall Street career culminating as VP Institutional Sales Trading at Merrill Lynch and elected official on the Rye City Board of Education, she moved to Florida. There, she became a certified addictions counselor and began formal training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, building on a long-standing personal meditation practice.

TransitionHelp LLC is a provider of mindfulness training to groups and individuals, serving the community at large, as well as more targeted communities such as those struggling with addictive behaviors, businesses wishing to provide stress management relief, community health centers, providing support for health care professionals and their patients.
